OUR STORY
Hi, we are Emma and George, a couple from Brighton who have quit their jobs and left everything behind to travel South and Central America, and hopefully the rest of the world! We have created this blog to document our journey and share our experiences. We hope that sharing our experiences, advice, and mistakes will help and encourage others to travel, make their own memories, and have their own amazing adventures.
We first met a few years ago, I was working behind a bar, and George, desperate to watch the Champions League Final, walked in. A few (many) flirtatious looks from me, and he eventually asked for my number. And as they say, the rest is history.
10 days after we met, I left for two months to travel to Peru with my Mum. When I came back, George told me that he was going to travel Southeast Asia for a couple of months. It was clear from the beginning of our relationship that travelling was important to both of us. Together, we have spent two weeks road-tripping around Italy and have travelled around Egypt. However, both of us wanted more than a holiday once or twice a year. It took some persuading to convince George to travel for at least 18 months. But I managed it! We spent the last two years saving as much as we possibly could, and have now started the adventure of a lifetime.
